Who am I and, if this site is mostly about PowerPoint, why the odd name?

Well, I’m Steve Hards, as you will have seen in the sidebar. Having learned so much about PowerPoint in my role as Director of Sales and Operations Director for Visual Exemplars, the company that produces the Perspector add-in for PowerPoint, I have a lot of knowledge and information about PowerPoint and it is time to share it.

The site was originally to have been called ‘We Who Use PowerPoint’ but Microsoft lawyers have been leaning on people (many of them Microsoft Valuable Professionals in PowerPoint!) who had PowerPoint in their web addresses and persuading them to change them. I didn’t want to tangle with Microsoft layers, so avoided the name from the start!
